Last night, I had a pleasant surprise in my mailbox: a big thick envelope from the company Everyone.com. Now that the fundraiser is over, the gift certificates came in the mail. A big stack of cards valid at Trader’s Joe and Whole Foods. The cards came in this beautiful package and it was absolutely thrilling to open the package.
This delivery would have never come to my house if none of you would have believed in this fundraiser and generously give. The fundraiser would have never exist without the initiative of my co-worker, Sonia Leclerc. Therefore a big thanks to Sonia and to all of you.
While it is pouring out there, I’ve been sending personal thank you email to each of my contributors this week. Many of you answered by providing me with their mailing address. I will be starting the handmade cards today, if all goes well. I believe I will be done by late next week so please be patient!
